2002-04-12 - 10:26 a.m.|Friday Five! I keep seeing this Friday Five in all the cool people's diaries so I'm jumping on the bandwagon. 1. What is your favorite restaurant and why? Pelican Point, it is in this beautiful riverside town so small the restaurant is the only thing there yet everyone in South Georgia knows about it. They give you so much food three adults could share one order of seafood. 2. What fast food restaurant are you partial to? Sonic, I think I'll go get me a cherry limeade in a few. 3. What are your standards and rules for tipping? I tip waitstaff really well unless they're just absolutely slack. I've worked for tips most of the time so I figure its karma. I even tip at Sonic cause they're walking out and bringing me food. With bartenders, though, I tip about $1 per order cause the percentage is just ridiculous and those people aren't struggling. Luckily for them I drink often so that's a lot of dollars. 4. Do you usually order an appetizer and/or dessert? I order appetizers if I'm paying. But I usually go to restaurants with my folks, and Mama likes dessert so we split a lot of desserts. 5. What do you usually order to drink at a restaurant? Iced tea that's mostly unsweet with a splash of sweet, merlot, or a margarita(s) on the rocks with salt.
