2002-01-17 - 10:14 p.m.|This one isn't about me, for once! Normally I would get on here and whine about what is or isn't happening to me. But tonight I found out a friend and coworker had a bad wreck. She had to be cut out of her car and lifeflighted to the hospital. Now they're testing to see if she has internal bleeding. Apparently she was conscious to tell them her stomach hurt, so I'm thinking that is a good sign. Because this town is so small, my father is right now at work with her brother in law, so I'll get some news around midnight when her sister calls her husband at work. Yeah, this town is small. And there are a lot of wrecks here because of it. See, there is only one road in and out and all of it is like one continuous stripmall. But, there are only four stoplights, so basically there are all these stores and no safe way to get to them. And every day there are horrible wrecks. All because no one will vote to spend the money on stoplights. My friend is only 21. Just yesterday she had her car customized, and now it is totaled. Pray for her.
